Dementia Awareness Month

Dementia Awareness Month 2017Throughout September for Dementia Awareness Month, Alzheimer’s WA is calling on all Western Australians to reach out to people with dementia in their community to let them know they are not alone and to find out more about how they can support them.

There are an estimated 39,600 people living with dementia in Western Australia. Without a significant medical breakthrough, the number of people with dementia is expected to grow to 144,000 Western Australians by 2056.

If you would like to help us promote Dementia Awareness Month, you can download an official poster from our website.
