Certificate IV Leadership and Innovation in Dementia Services – 10719NAT

Alzheimer’s WA is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 4755) with decades of experience in educating and training the health care professionals and front line teams who work with those living with dementia.

We believe dementia is a human experience rather than just a biological condition.

Our highly professional educators are all qualified and have vast and varied experience in providing support to people living with dementia and their families in either community, hospital or residential settings.

The 10719NAT Certificate IV in Leadership and Innovation in Dementia Services is an accredited qualification in dementia care for health and aged care professionals working with people living with dementia. The new course consists of 16 units.

Topics covered in the course include:

  • Leadership and culture change
  • Communication and relationship valuing
  • Creating enabling environments
  • Developing strategies to reduce stigma
  • Providing support to people living with younger onset dementia

Please note: classroom attendance is compulsory.


The student tuition fees are indicative only and are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment.  Additional fees may apply such as student service and resource fees.
