I am under 65

Despite being more common in people over 65, dementia can still affect people at a younger age. This is known as ‘younger onset dementia’. There are around 2500 people in their 30’s, 40’s and 50’s living with younger onset dementia in WA.

Alzheimer’s WA has a specialist team and a range of services developed to support people living with younger onset dementia. Our experts can offer advice, as well as a range of services for people under the age of 65 living with dementia. We can also provide support for people receiving the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
