Championing Change in Hospital Care


This innovative, capacity building program supports hospital staff in the specialised field of dementia care.

Using a train-the-trainer approach, Champions gain the knowledge, skills, information and resources to support the development of a person-centred approach for people living with dementia.
Dementia Change Champions are clinical and non-clinical staff who are passionate about supporting patients living with dementia.

Dementia Change Champions are clinical and non-clinical staff who are passionate about supporting patients living with dementia. The program includes specialist dementia training, access to Alzheimer’s WA’s extensive resources, and ongoing mentoring and networking opportunities. Receiving organizational support for participants taking part in the program is critical to the success and effectiveness of their roles.

Please email education@alzheimerswa.org.au for more information, or call us on 1300 66 77 88. Upon completion of the Dementia Change Champion Hospital Program, Champions are presented with a program certificate and badge.
