Michael Verde “Love is Listening- Dementia Without Loneliness ” Tour

August 2019

Back by popular demand Michael Verde (Dementia Expert and Memory Bridge Founder) returns to Perth for this special screening of his new documentary ‘Love is Listening: Dementia without Loneliness’ that teaches ways to tap into depths of memory that dementia does not erase. The screening will be followed by a lecture and question and answer session led by Verde.

Michael will also be holding a number of free to attend talks across Perth. The talks will focus on what we can do when a loved one is diagnosed with dementia outside of a cure. Michael shares how to overcome feelings of self-consciousness, discomfort and fear to be fully present and connected to someone living with dementia.

A group of Perth’s leading and highly experienced financial planners have partnered with Alzheimer’s WA to provide a special, free workshop designed specifically for the families of people living with dementia. The 2 hour seminar is split into two sessions with questions and answers at the end.

These sessions are designed for people who are caring for a loved one in the community with a diagnosis of dementia.
