The Brown Family
Head over to 8 Kennack Vista in Atwell to check out the amazing Brown family’s house. Liz and her family have put on a brilliant display for a number of years now, complete with a walkway under enchanted trees, inflatables, and Christmas music.
Home Made Jam
Brothers, Geoff and Don, have been making jam and selling it to the local community for a number of years to raise funds for Alzheimer’s WA. A batch of jam delivered to the offices never lasts long!
In just five years Olivia and her committee have raised close to $72,000 for Alzheimer’s WA, after commencing an annual corporate golfing day in 2014 to honour her grandfather Arney who passed away from dementia in 2013. Olivia was just 10 years old when she saw how much Alzheimer’s WA assisted her grandparents after her Grandad’s diagnosis and decided she wanted to give something back.
Larry Hikes the Bibbulmun
Larry decided to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s WA after a close family member was recently diagnosed. Larry just completed a 43 day trek of the Bibbulmun Track along the beaches and forest of WA. With the support of his family and friends Larry raised an incredible $11,303.00 for Alzheimer’s WA. Each day when Larry met someone on the track, or when they shared a hut with him, he would write their name on his shirt. He’d also hand out a little slip of paper with the link to his online fundraising page.
Teresa organised a fun Zumba morning with raffles and games raising an amazing $3,330!
