Give up chocolate in June to support those living with dementia!
We are challenging people to give up chocolate for a week, a fortnight, or (if you’re made of really hard stuff) a whole month! Get sponsored for your efforts and raise funds for people living with dementia.
The 2017 Chocolate Block Challenge got off to a cracking start. On a damp Friday morning, a brave team of Alzheimer’s WA staff, family and volunteers took to the Murray Street Mall to give out free chocolates and raise awareness for the charity and the campaign. The day concluded with a world record attempt, in which four mighty volunteers were tasked with trying to eat as many M&Ms as possible in one minute – using chopsticks!
Ultimately, the 2017 Chocolate Block Challenge raised an amazing $25,000. A huge thank you to all our brave challengers, who achieved the unthinkable by going without the sweet stuff for as long as they could!
If you’re eager for another crack at the challenge, or if you missed out last time and are keen to show your skills, registrations for 2018 will be opening soon!
