Following a community case of COVID-19 being detected overnight in WA, effective from 12pm today, restrictions have been introduced for the Perth and Peel regions for a minimum of three days. This is an evolving situation.
Please note the following:
⁃ Masks are mandatory indoors, on public transport and outdoor public areas where physical distancing is not possible;
⁃ Events that cannot be restricted to 150 people to be canceled;
⁃ 150 person and 2sqm rule for some businesses and venues;
⁃ Visits to hospitals and care facilities are limited to 4 personal visitors per person per day
⁃ Interstate travel should be minimised out of Perth;
⁃ Travel to remote Aboriginal communities remains restricted.
Our Memory Cafes will be postponed this week. Our group activities have been canceled for tomorrow and will be reassessed and rescheduled as the situation evolves. Our non-essential staff members will work from home and we will keep our members up to date as new information becomes available.
