Don’t flake on us! Take a time out from chocolate this March to raise money for people with dementia. For a short time in March we are asking you to last only on your memories of chocolate to raise money for the 34,000 people living with dementia in Western Australia.

The Alzheimer’s WA Chocolate Block Challenge fundraiser launched on Thursday 18 January, with the official challenge start date set for 1 March. This year we have four ambassadors who will take part in the challenge and help raise funds for Alzheimer’s WA. They are:

  • Tim Gossage: breakfast radio host with 6IX and Channel 10 News sports reporter
  • John Burgess: 6IX radio presenter and former Wheel of Fortune host
  • Pippa McManus: fashion illustrator
  • Jessica Bratich Johnson: fashion designer and former karate champion

Like many of us, our ambassadors have all been touched by dementia at some point in their lives. Their support is invaluable in promoting the challenge and getting as many people as possible to sign up and raise money for people living with dementia.
