Marketing Manager

Position Summary:

Our Marketing Manager is responsible for building and managing a customer service centre, develop and deliver on annual marketing, communication and stakeholder plans that drive profile, profit, and engagement. Additionally, will run marketing-specific projects, design and deliver fundraising, membership and social media strategies and oversee all external stakeholder communication channels.

The focus of this role is to raise awareness of and to position Alzheimer’s WA as the Western Australian charity supporting, educating and advocating for people living with dementia, their carers and families, along with being the preferred industry employer and charitable cause for donors, sponsors and volunteers.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage daily operations within the Marketing team
  • Develop, manage and implement marketing strategies for promotions, fundraising, brand reputation, donations, and traditional and digital media
  • Develop, maintain and report on marketing KPIs and metrics for events, and operational impact
  • Communicate with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate AWA’s marketing operations and functions
  • Manage and grow Alzheimer’s WA’s branding and positioning, including ensuring brand consistency across the organisation
  • Coordinate and manage logistics, timelines and requirements of campaigns and events

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of current marketing and/or public relations practices;
  • Demonstrated experience in managing media relations;
  • Proven competence in revenue growth that meets or exceeds fundraising targets;
  • Proven experience with corporate partnership, trusts and foundations, major donor, bequest and high net worth programs;
  • Proven ability to meet fundraising targets, along with creating and developing new fundraising opportunities;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to present and manage stakeholder relationships;
  • Demonstrated experience in writing media releases, speeches, articles and copy;
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines;
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and desktop publishing;
  • An ability to prioritise, monitor and coordinate personal workloads to meet varying deadline
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a small team;
  • Working rights in Australia
  • Current Police Clearance
  • A valid WA ‘C’ class driver’s licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening
  • Up-to-date COVID Vaccination
